Café @ the Track- An important message for our customers

Café at the Track is very fortunate to have a loyal, friendly and understanding customer base. Many of you have supported us from the very beginning back in November 2018, and many have joined us along the way. We are so grateful that you continued to support us during the pandemic as we closed our doors to protect our whole community, and it has been wonderful to welcome many of you back when we reopened in September 2021.

Since reopening, however, we’ve found it challenging to juggle the pressures of running a café alongside welcoming our students back to full time education following almost two years of disrupted provision. This is especially in relation to the basic need of Post 16 students being able to meet together in one central space, and being able to provide students with a quality hot meal each day.

As a result, and with a heavy heart, we have decided to temporarily close Café at the Track at the end of this half term, with our last day being Friday 22nd October. It is our sincere wish that we will reopen in 2022 and welcome you back to a revised Café offer. We hope that you understand that ensuring we are meeting  students’ needs is always our first priority.

Most importantly, it would be remiss of us not to recognise the huge amount of time, effort and dedication shown by so many of our amazing young people and café staff (past and present) in making Café at the Track what it is today. Any bookings up to half term will continue as normal. However naturally any bookings from Tuesday 2nd  November 2021 will now be unable to go ahead.

We look forward to welcoming you back as and when we can.
